Families in Mississippi are being squeezed from every direction — groceries, rent, utilities, healthcare — while giant corporations rake in record profits. This isn’t inflation by accident. It’s a rigged system that rewards monopolies and punishes working people.

Evan believes affordability starts with breaking corporate power and putting money back in people’s pockets.

In Congress, Evan will fight to:

• Enact stronger antitrust and competition laws to hold cheating corporations accountable

• Ban price gouging and junk fees that drain household budgets

• Get tough on corporate crime and consumer exploitation

• Reverse Trump’s illegal tariffs that raised prices on working families

• Expand the Child Tax Credit, SNAP, and TANF, and ensure federal benefits go directly to families — not mismanaged by the Mississippi government
